To celebrate the 151st year of the America's Cup, New Zealand Post and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand have issued four beautiful coins in a range of presentation options.

Silver frosted proof coin in satin-lined velvet case: $79.00 Numismatic cover with silver frosted proof coin $89.00
 
 

For the discerning collector, we present a solid gold $10 proof coin, perfectly displayed in an elegant wooden box. The coin depicts the America's Cup against images of New Zealand, the Southern Cross and two yachts mid-race. The coin is also available in a gold plated version.

Additionally, a $5 silver frosted proof coin and a $5 brilliant uncirculated coin depicting two yachts in a tacking manoeuvre is also available. The obverse of all coins features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Both $5 coins and the $10 gold plated coins are available in a numismatic cover.  The collector coins, which are issued as legal tender - but do not circulate.
